    Saffron

    The vibrant reddish-gold color of saffron (Crocus sativus L.) Is attributed to carotenoid components, namely crocin and crocetin. Saffron is a staple in Mediterranean and Indian cuisine, and it has a somewhat bitter taste.

    The main bioactive ingredients in saffron include terpene safranal, which gives saffron its unique smell, as well as crocin and crocetin, picrocrocin, and crocin. These chemicals’ ability to protect cells makes them beneficial to health in a variety of ways.

    Cardamom 

    In Indian cooking, cardamom pods (Elettaria cardamomum) is a necessary component. Cardamom, also known as the “Queen of Spices,” is a spice that has anti-inflammatory, blood pressure-lowering, antioxidant, and antidiabetic properties. It also includes volatile oils and phenolic compounds.

    Ashwagandha

    One of the most significant herbs in India’s ancient medical system, Ayurveda, is ashwagandha (Withania somnifera).

    Oregano

Dried garlic powder is strong in diallyl disulfide (DADS) and alliin, whereas fresh garlic is rich in γ-glutamyl cysteine derivatives and S-allyl-L-cysteine sulfoxide (alliin).

    Due to its ability to lower atherosclerosis, or the accumulation of plaque in the arteries, garlic may assist safeguard heart health. According to a 2021 research including 4,329 people, those who ate raw garlic one to three times a week had thinner carotid intima-media (cimt). A person’s risk of developing an illness linked to atherosclerosis may be determined by measuring their cimt, an early marker of atherosclerosis.

    Rosemary

    The aromatic plant known as rosemary, or Rosmarinus officinalis, is a common ingredient in kitchens all throughout the globe. One of the many plant-based sources of rosmarinic acid, a phenolic chemical, is rosemary.

    It has been shown that rosemary’s various constituents, including rosmarinic acid, have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, analgesic, and anticancer properties.
